1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using PortalDice (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement.
2. Description of Service
The Service provides a platform for tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG) players to find games, generate stories with AI, and manage campaigns. You understand and agree that the Service is provided "AS-IS" and that PortalDice assumes no responsibility for the timeliness, deletion, mis-delivery or failure to store any user communications or personalization settings.
3. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;
- Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity;
- Upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or any other form of solicitation.
4. AI-Generated Content
The Service utilizes artificial intelligence to generate content such as story outlines, characters, and encounters. While we strive for high-quality and appropriate content, PortalDice is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of any AI-generated content. You are responsible for reviewing and using such content at your own risk.
5. Termination
You agree that PortalDice may, under certain circumstances and without prior notice, immediately terminate your PortalDice account and access to the Service. Cause for such termination shall include, but not be limited to, (a) breaches or violations of the Terms of Service or other incorporated agreements or guidelines, (b) requests by law enforcement or other government agencies, (c) a request by you (self-initiated account deletions), (d) discontinuance or material modification to the Service (or any part thereof), (e) unexpected technical or security issues or problems.
6. Changes to Terms
PortalDice reserves the right to update and change the Terms of Service from time to time without notice. Any new features that augment or enhance the current Service, including the release of new tools and resources, shall be subject to the Terms of Service. Continued use of the Service after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.
